Application of Systemic Principles in One to One Work
The challenge
Often as practitioners we feel helpless with our clients... - the process may feel stuck - despite the clients best efforts, deep work and awareness it feels like there is something missing or overlooked - we get the sense that there is something larger at play A new perspective In such instances it is useful to broaden our frame and hold a systemic perspective. To become aware of - unsupportive family dynamics - transgenerational trauma - recognise that we are all embedded in systems and that these have an impact on us In the current uncertain climate of Brexit and Trump it seems appropriate to hold this larger frame and recognise how these larger societal changes impact upon our individual clients. |
The workshop
- will introduce you to how systemic principles can be applied when working with people one to one in your practice.
- provide you with insights and techniques that you can be use when working with your clients.
- how to hold the systemic frame can shed light on intractable situations allowing you to deepen the works and support your clients
- allow for space when feeling stuck, allowing the process to unfold.
